Everything your family needs, in one place

From a straightforward will to property trusts handled with our solicitor partners — prepared by an adviser who sits with you, not a form that guesses.

Lasting Powers of Attorney

The document families wish they had a year earlier

A will speaks when you die. An LPA speaks while you are alive but cannot — after a stroke, an accident, or as dementia takes hold. Without one, your family has to ask a court for permission to help you.

Where the family home is protected — and where honesty matters most

If you own your home jointly, your will may not touch it at all. These are the conversations that protect a home, a business or a vulnerable child. They are solicitor-led, and we will tell you when you do not need them.

How the legal side works. Preparing a will, including a trust written into a will, or a Lasting Power of Attorney is not a reserved legal activity, and our advisers handle those. Other work is reserved by the Legal Services Act 2007 to authorised people: preparing trust deeds and other deeds dealing with property, transfers and applications at HM Land Registry, and applying for a grant of probate. That work is carried out for you by regulated firms we work with, who are responsible for it, and you are told who they are before anything starts. Will Writing Network is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not give tax advice. Trusts are not right for everyone: they create duties that last for years, including registration with HMRC, and they cannot guarantee that care fees or inheritance tax will be avoided. If your main aim is to avoid care fees, your adviser will tell you honestly whether a trust is likely to achieve that. Everything is quoted as a fixed fee before any work begins.
